The Consumer & Market Insight Luxe Manager places the consumer at the heart of the brand strategic development, delivering insights to feed business strategy.
The CMI Luxe Manager is the key partner to infuse consumer centricity among the brand development teams to accelerate our client’s Luxe brands international development and growth.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Capture brands CMI needs to support the design of testing strategy and plans for brand and portfolio building, manage testing budget.
• Execute & activate the agreed research plan: agency proposition, hot debrief/workshop, global analysis/connecting dots into action oriented recommendations.
• Communicate and influence high quality recommendations at the right level in the organization to impact business decisions

TRENDS AND TRANSVERSAL INSIGHTS
• Monitor consumers trends by tracking internal and external researches and insights: liaising with the different CMI entities, keeping updates on market updates and industry reports release.
Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, with concentration in market research, psychology, sociology, or marketing.
• 6-7 years of experience in consumer research / consumer insights
• Experience in the luxury industry (beauty, clothing, travel…), its codes and expressions.
• Experience across an array of strategic qualitative and quantitative research methodologies: brand DNA, segmentation, positioning, product testing, ad testing, tracking studies…
• Experience in supporting brand development is preferred
• Experience in beauty industry is preferred

Day in the Life/ Details:
• A major part of this role is project management – rigorous drive to execute details, knowing what is planned and what needs to be done, able to identify roadblocks and let the team know and create action plans around those roadblocks – the balance between taking direct action and notifying the team that their actions is needed
• Current team of 3
• Ability to follow up with teams in California and work seamlessly despite distance
• Being the voice of the consumer – the ability to see/review reports that are interesting and identify trends and summarize with the team
• Consumer research is a must – setting up tests, connecting with our suppliers for consumer research, understanding how it works, being able to read data, basics of Excel to generate formulas and projection and PPT – creating reports/presentations
Hard Skills:
• Project Management – 2-3 years of experience
• Consumer Research is the leading component of this role – so yes, a PM but the CR is key
• Experience with luxury brands (outside of beauty is ok) is a huge plus
• Strong communication – to be able to share insights, confident in delivery and presentation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $62.20 to $69.11 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
