Our client is looking for a Communications Specialist. This position is meant to extend the Chief of Staff and provide program and communications support. The candidate needs to be located in Puget Sound and able to come into the Redmond office during critical periods.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information.
- Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging.
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Works closely with Client’s Product corporate sales team to write and finalize monthly and annual press releases.
- Create and manage the rhythm of business, including business reviews, technical reviews, annual planning, leadership staff meetings, cross-organizational business reporting, etc. to help the business and technology development run smoothly and effectively.
- Drive operational Excellence across the organization, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects that improve team efficiency.
- Work across a wide group of stakeholders to ensure timely, high quality and consistent completion of business operation activities across the org to achieve overall business and cultural priorities.
- Develop high impact communications for executive, manager-level, and organization-wide audiences.
- Develop and manage organizational assets including Walking decks, Org. Policies & Procedures, Team web sites, SharePoint sites, and Teams channels.
- Lead and execute organization wide strategic initiatives and change management projects.
- Drive Employee Engagement efforts including but not limited to Recognition, Awards and Feedback programs/surveys, MS Poll and People Planning efforts across the org to achieve overall business and cultural priorities.
- Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information.
Job Requirements
- 8-10 Years of Experience in Communications, Must have previously worked within a global technology company.
- 5-8 Years of Experience with strong writing, event experience and End to End project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.
- Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven capabilities to drive positive business results through cross-group collaboration and partnerships.
- Cross-functional program management/technical program management experience required.
- Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
- MUST HAVE at least 3 years of experience using Systems and Tools (Sharepoint, Viva Engage, v-teams).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $48.58 to $53.93 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
