Our global cleint in the beauty / hair industry is seeking a Copywriter to add to their team. This is a hybrid opportunity in St. Petersburg, FL and has a rotating schedule: The first week of the month: Mon, Tues, & Fri in the office, then the second week Mon, Tues, Wed in the office and then rotates.

Please note: Candidate will need to have their own Apple laptop with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Word/Excel.

This role would be junior-level and supplement the current copywriting team, allowing the Senior Copywriter to take on the higher-level projects usually completed by the Managing Editor. This would allow us to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of our marketing efforts during the absence, and assist us in maintaining the momentum of our campaigns.

Scope of Work:
Copywriting/Content Ideation: Create compelling and engaging copy for projects including but not limited to:
โ€ข Comprehensive templated monthly sales-driving campaigns (E.g. Shop & Learns, Flash Sales, Surprise Sales, other drop-ins as necessary) across various channels including website, app, email, social media, and print materials.
โ€ข Push and SMS communications: craft concise and impactful messages to drive user engagement.
โ€ข Adapt high-level marketing campaigns created by Senior Copywriter for different outlets such as website, app, and email, while maintaining message consistency and brand voice.

Editing and Proofreading: Thoroughly edit and proofread all campaign materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
โ€ข This is extended to Partner/PPD Brand Content (CRM): Review and provide feedback on copy and design elements for emails created by partner brands, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines and maintaining brand integrity.
โ€ข This also includes design feedback to ensure design/copy flow properly within each campaign element.

Content Ideation: Participate in brainstorming creative concepts and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, contributing to the overall creative direction of projects. This would be done in tandem with other copywriters on the team. Examples include event taglines (e.g. Glam Camp), major sales taglines (e.g. Color Month, Hug Your Hairdresser) and all other requests that require creative collaboration.

Additional General Duties:
โ€ข Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality copy. This includes filtering all copy edits from other PMโ€™s to the designers to ensure accuracy.
โ€ข Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for campaign optimization.
โ€ข Copy Testing: Execute A/B tests along with CRM to evaluate the effectiveness of different copy variations and refine messaging accordingly.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is$30-32.82 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
