Our major tech client in Seattle is looking for a non-IT program manager to drive down internal Azure costs through hygiene efforts and other cost optimization strategies. The main function of this non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities using Outlook and Teams across different engineering and finance systems in collaboration with the broader  team.

Job Responsibilities:
· Obtain access to internal Azure tools to perform analysis of spend based on Financial Hierarchy and Manager Hierarchy 
· Drive internal Azure cost reduction efforts through PC code hygiene, organizational alignment, and right-sizing resources
· Identify gap between different tools and work to bring together in alignment
· Identify external cross-charges, contact subscription owners, and track progress and insights to align to accurate PC codes
· Perform a PC code and resource “clean-up” on all subscriptions inside Mission Engineering

Skills:
· Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
· Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time, including persistent follow-through and bias for action
· Experience in AIRS or CABS in administrator role required
· Experience with Azure spend optimization and CloudFit/Cloud Optimal required

· Have an understanding of Microsoft Finance, financial hierarchies and general finance terminology
· Analytical skills and ability to create pivot tables in MS Excel
· Basic knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
· PMI or PMP certification preferred.
· 2-4 years experience required.

 

“The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50.17 to $55.74 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
