A global energy company is looking for a Digital Asset Manager to support its internal communications organization located in Spring, TX.
The Digital Asset Manager (DAM) will assist the in-house creative department with management of digital assets throughout their life cycle. The DAM will work within a cloud-based Digital Asset Management system (Digizuite), and with its connected tools such as Sitecore and an on-site Media Management system.

Candidate must have extensive experience with Metadata strategy and implementation, understand the world of photography and video, be detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced workplace.

What you’ll do:

Collaborating with Creative team on photo and video sessions
-
Acquiring, cataloguing, and curating protecting the department’s digital assets using a DAM system.

Metadata strategy including naming convention, base-level information and asset specific details
-
Manage asset uploading and tagging per strategy
-
Administer the DAM system including digital asset and user database.

Gain strong understanding of brand standards to ensure all project deliverables stay โon brandโ
-
Strong understanding of copyright and licensing laws and guidelines

Providing the team with overall support, as necessary
Core Competencies/Required Skills:
-
3 -5 yrs experience of relevant experience in a Digital Asset Management role/DAM system experience

Expert understanding of meta-data, photography and video licensing
-
Must have experience with archival methods, strategies and taxonomy

Must have experience working on a Creative Team

Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office 360
-
Experience working within a CMS, such as Sitecore or similar platforms
-
Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability

Excellent corporate communication skills

Collaborative work style
Additional Skills (not required, but preferred, or willing to learn):

On-set photography or video experience โ can assist with building or manning a set (lighting, sound, camera operations, control booth, etc)

Video editing (Adobe Premiere or DaVinci)

Photo retouching (Adobe Photoshop)

Background or interest in energy industry
Compensation Range: $35 -45/hr DOE
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
