This is a remote role in the US.

Our client is looking for a part-time Copywriter for their AAA first-person extraction shooter. The Copywriter will work with a company that is passionate about gaming, and will push the boundaries of the industries.

The Gaming Copywriter’s Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Supports the marketing team in the creation of written projects.
- Operates and maintains Hubspot system in the production of emails and/or newsletters for distribution across multiple target audiences.
- Writes emails, blogs, and newsletters for various comm channels (ex – Hubspot, Medium, LinkedIn, website’s Comm Center, etc.).
- Creatively and strategically works with the marketing team to create compelling content based on needed goals.
- Develops understanding of company tone and PR goals under brand guidelines.
- Maintains active lines of communication with team on the status of research, interviews and edits, while adhering to deadlines.
- Adds tracking links, media, and language to support CTAs and enhance communication ecosystem/branding.
- Maintains and enhances Hubspot email databases, identifying places/strategies for improvement and enhanced database health.
- Schedules interviews with team members to support projects as needed.
- Stays on top of best practices to enhancement effectiveness in growing writing platforms (ex – LinkedIn, Medium, Hubspot).
- Assists in the creation of ad hoc innovative media projects as assigned.
- Delivers final assets per required specifications.
The Gaming Copywriter’s Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience copywriting experience in gaming or cross-media or equivalent experience (please provide samples and/or website link displaying previous work when applying).
- Knowledge of professional writing and editing guidelines (ex – APA, MLA), techniques, and standards.
- Proficient in both creative, technical, and social media writing styles.
- Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting, and associated production equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast- paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an energetic, determined mindset.
- Enjoys working with teams for best result collaborative projects.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
The Gaming Copywriter’s Nice to Haves:
- Office365 and Google Suite proficiency.
- A mindset of continuous improvement; humble and ambitious.
- Prior experience in a startup environment or small business.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40/hr – $47/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
