Our leading local LA government agency is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to help out their team on a short term assignment!
Our client is a government organization first and foremost, but the candidate will be working in the Graphics section, which is a Creative Services Department made up of very friendly and dedicated artists/designers. Business casual attire. There is a lot of movement within the area with production work going on at all times.
Winning candidate will have familiarity with, but not limited to, working on small media campaigns and social outreach infographics for government/entertainment based marketing campaigns. Candidate should show a wide variety of successful projects that include illustration, typography, digital composition and use of color. Projects include infographics, social media graphics, page design and layouts. Experience working for professional or local government agencies with emphasis on stunning and modern infographic design, page layouts and social media campaigns on Facebook, Insta, Threads and X. Less focus on fine art techniques with more focus on graphic design.
Preferred skills:
– 5-10 years agency or in-house creative department experience, but not required- Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 experience on MacOS platform
– Adept at freestyle Photoshop and Illustrator artwork creation for original artwork creation with good visual use of type

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $38.00 to $48.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
