Our client is looking for a dynamic Marketing Leader focused on client acquisition, versed in 360 campaign and Go-To-Market strategies focused in the automotive industry. 

The team is tasked with developing and launching a new business venture in the digital / app marketplace. The ideal candidate will thrive in a startup environment, creating new business opportunities and products.
The Marketing Leader will create and execute a strategy of monthly active user acquisition growth, product demand generation, and active user retention for our digital marketplace app. A strong leader developing an in-house team responsible for executing the venture’s overall marketing and advertising strategy focused on promotion, event management, and the monitoring of all marketing & ad performance metrics; both digital and/or traditional. This position is responsible for building and evolving the product’s brand identity.
The Marketing Leader will serve as the external facing leader for the business venture, interacting with and leading communications at events, in social media, and with news media.

Key Accountabilities
– Strategic GTM (Go-To_Market) marketing planning and communications – represent growth marketing voice with GMs, Product, and Tech teams to define and execute on a roadmap.
– Digital Marketing & Media – Sustaining efforts in GTM- Includes video, SEO, SEM strategy, paid social, plus all audience targeting initiatives. Lead the website development and maintenance, and full oversight of CRM integration and retargeting optimization. Leverage other media channels, if needed.
– Building the Brand – Define the plan to create and scale the brand identity for our platform/app. Push the boundaries of creative development and strategic planning to achieve the plan including responsibility for A/B testing, user experience, and target audience persona definitions.
– Event Management – Be the point of contact for all event planning for the venture. Lead internal/external outreach events hitting key KPIs.
– Social Media/Community Management – Day-to-day oversight of social accounts and engagement.
– Admin – KPI’s, PDCA, and budget oversight.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelors in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related degree
8+ years of overall marketing experience
5+ years of work experience executing and/or leading at-scale performance marketing programs for digital agencies or client marketing organizations
4+ years of experience leading a marketing team with direct reports
Extensive experience with social media platforms
Automotive industry experience highly preferred.
Experience managing 3rd party advertising agencies and advertising vendors.
Experience with self-serve media buying.
Experience working with incentives and offers.
Jira, Confluence, Scrum, agile experience preferred.

This is a startup product. Our candidate must show demonstrated aptitude for analytics, ready to work onsite in Torrance, CA to collaborate and grow the brand with other teammates. 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $120-175K annually depending on experience. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
