A leading player in the entertainment industry is seeking a talented Packaging/Product Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging design, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector, with a proven track record of creating innovative and visually striking packaging solutions. Experience working on co-branded  licensing products, especially within the toy or food and beverage industries, is highly desirable.

● Be an integral part of the Product Development & Creative team covering all product development
aspects of the Consumer Products business across the UCAN (US, Canada, Australia and New
Zealand) region.
● Lead the creative development and execution of Netflix properties in how they turn up across all
food and beverage categories.
● Hands-on design on mood boards, product mock ups, style guide assets and other needs to
assist in driving the creative direction of products.
● Partner with licensees to drive innovation and supply feedback from concept to final product
approval ensuring brand vision, design quality and product integrity.
● Manage and maintain product approvals in a timely manner through the internal product approval
system.
● Build and maintain close relationships with cross functional teams such as Licensing, Merchandise
Strategy & Development, and Retail Marketing to support overall brand vision.
● Align with key stakeholders across content makers, brand partnerships, BLA, creative marketing
and regional marketing teams where applicable to maximize the impact of our strategies.

What We Need From You
● At least 3-5 years of creative design experience in the licensing, entertainment, or CPG industry
● Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate
● Ongoing observation and knowledge of food and beverage trends, and the ability to apply that knowledge to
direct brand vision and create compelling products at all price points.
● Proven track record of innovation in food and beverage product development, driven by
deep-seated passion and enthusiasm.
● Ability to art direct effectively with contractors, agencies, and licensees
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital.
● Excellent memo writing skills

● Ability to pitch business to potential partners with excitement
● Strong hands-on design and mockup rendering skills
● Essential project and time management skills.
● Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills are a must.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $45- 50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
