Our client is seeking a Product Designer to join a dynamic team, a role designed for individuals with a profound design aptitude, exceptional typographic and digital skills, and an unparalleled attention to detail. This position calls for a highly motivated and self-directed team player who excels in a pressure-driven and dynamic environment. Your task will involve developing visual design concepts that adhere to our visual and interface guidelines and collaborating closely with visual system designers. The role demands the capability to manage multiple projects effectively and to be an excellent creator, collaborator, and communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design collaboration for your designated product area, working closely with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers.
  • Engage in foundational research to grasp our customers’ behaviors, motivations, and needs, leveraging these insights to craft impactful and relevant user experiences.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, creating value for both the business and its customers.
  • Employ your expertise in mapping end-to-end experiences and ideating innovative solutions to address complex user scenarios and business challenges.
  • Innovate and propose creative solutions to intricate problems, utilizing strong interaction and visual design skills to realize exceptional product designs.
  • Document and specify final designs, update design systems, and collaborate directly with engineers for implementation.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in visual UI design/graphic design for websites/mobile apps.
  • A strong grasp of UX principles, including web and mobile interaction patterns, with robust visual/UI design skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of design fundamentals such as color theory, typography, layout, and branding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (e.g., Figma).
  • A portfolio ready for review by the design lead.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience through a combination of education and work experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50.67 to $56.30 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
