Join a dynamic team as a Product/Interaction Designer, where you’ll be instrumental in crafting state-of-the-art tools for the world’s leading engineering teams. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with program managers to understand complex requirements and user needs.
- Conceptualize, design, and test innovative solutions for web and mobile applications.
- Iteratively refine designs based on data and user feedback in conjunction with program managers and engineers.
- Employ design thinking methodologies to uncover optimal solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives.
- Manage design scope effectively to ensure progress within time and resource constraints.
- Adhere to established design system and brand guidelines, promoting the 1ES brand through well-crafted user experiences.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in product design within iterative development environments.
- Exceptional lateral thinking and analytical skills, with a flair for solving complex problems.
- Capacity to explore innovative solutions beyond traditional design boundaries.
- Proficiency in articulating design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in product design, specifically for software products.
- Knowledge of contemporary software development practices.
- A robust portfolio that showcases a breadth of experience in product design within technology and enterprise contexts.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $65 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
