Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with program managers to understand complex requirements and user needs.
  • Conceptualize, design, and test innovative solutions for web and mobile applications.
  • Iteratively refine designs based on data and user feedback in conjunction with program managers and engineers.
  • Employ design thinking methodologies to uncover optimal solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives.
  • Manage design scope effectively to ensure progress within time and resource constraints.
  • Adhere to established design system and brand guidelines, promoting the 1ES brand through well-crafted user experiences.

Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in product design within iterative development environments.
  • Exceptional lateral thinking and analytical skills, with a flair for solving complex problems.
  • Capacity to explore innovative solutions beyond traditional design boundaries.
  • Proficiency in articulating design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in product design, specifically for software products.
  • Knowledge of contemporary software development practices.
  • A robust portfolio that showcases a breadth of experience in product design within technology and enterprise contexts.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of  $65 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
