**This is an ONSITE role that is open to US-based, authorized, W2 candidates who can be on-site in Portland, OR every day.**

This Consultant position requires a data-centric focus and a passion for enabling the company’s digital transformation through data knowledge in software product development, a solid technical background, and a proven track record of delivering solutions that improve user productivity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders, partners, and the product squad to understand and document requirements, use cases, business benefits/impacts, source-to-target mappings, etc.
  • Understand the data better and deliver foundational data artifacts that ensure operational readiness for secure access and consumption, including a complete metadata set.
  • Manage and escalate risks as needed in an agile environment by creating and prioritizing epics, translating requirements into stories with acceptance criteria, and tracking deliverables and timelines.
  • Coordinate intake requests and gather necessary details to facilitate request reviews, prioritization, and access approvals
  • Establish quarterly key results and metrics to ensure that the team delivers business value in line with the organization’s priorities
  • Ensure that the team is delivering and tracking the work defined on the roadmap and quarterly planning commitments.
  • Support the company’s top priorities with a data-driven product vision and strategy. Identify the strategic product implications and opportunities that result from major corporate strategies and change initiatives.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
There is a strong data focus and cross-functionality to this role. As part of your job, you will work closely with business and technology partners within the enterprise to meet their data needs.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Ability to ramp up quickly on the different Product Creation data sources
  • A passion for data and a commitment to doing the right thing
  • Ability to manage the intake and prioritization process of business and technology partners, consumers, and stakeholders to determine the data needs.
  • Technical ability to query data, access data from both front-end and back-end applications, and build and read mappings from source to target
  • Knowledge of metadata (work experience with metadata preferred)
  • Strong analytical and technical background: Ability to own an epic E2E, define acceptance criteria, and ensure that all dependent teams know any changes or work required, including integrations.

DESIRED PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in Digital Product Management and Product Delivery
  • Excellent listener and communicator able to facilitate intake requests, requirements gathering, use case understanding, and other cross-functional discussions
  • Highly proficient in SQL, MYSQL, or similar experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets
  • Good understanding and ability to interpret JSON contracts, APIs
  • Highly proficient in creating and understanding Source-to-Target Mappings of data transformations and integrations
  • Highly proficient in data analysis and validation
  • Passionate about documentation
  • Ability to timely and proactively manage issues, risks, dependencies, and deliverables

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix-based, global environment
  • Experience operating in Agile/SCRUM delivery methodology

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $66. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
