Our client is looking for help with administrative functions and project management: submitting and tracking purchase orders, engaging with the team who manages the purchase orders, helping with drafting contracts, managing small projects, tracking large projects, etc. The team has a positive working environment, and team members are nice to work with. There is a lot of flexibility in the role regarding work hours and schedule. The space is very fast moving with a lot of growth opportunities. Someone who is interested in a challenge will have the ability to get involved in different business aspects.
 

The purpose of this team is 2 main functions; Business operations, and strategic initiatives:

  • Business operations= supplier engagement, contracts, POs, etc. We put together the budget and submit purchase orders for the security staffing providers.
  • Strategic initiatives = responsible for managing projects that will help improve security, implement new programs in the organization, responsible for a portion of the budget related to those projects.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
  • BA degree is nice to have for this role.

 

Disqualifiers: 

  • Lack of attention to detail, mistakes cause a lot of rework in this role.
  • Resumes errors and lack of organization

 

The ideal resume would contain:

  • Attention to detail
  •  Experience with Purchase Order type work
  • Experience with contracts
  •  Curious/ willingness to ask questions

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

1. Minimum 2 years experience with Project Management
2. Minimum 2 years experience with Excel, PowerPoint
3. Minimum 2 years experience with Basic knowledge of purchase order, contract, and financial processes.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $44.91 to $49.90 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
