Quantitative UX Researcher
(Hybrid work: TuesÂ-Thurs in the office. Monday & Friday remote)
Responsibilities:
-The UX Research team is responsible for some of the most business critical launches. Our changes affect how users experience commercial journeys visually, emotionally, and behaviorally. The success of our launches depends critically on how they impact the user experience.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
-Execute and drive an ambitious research agenda, drawing on your own and the team’s technical expertise in a variety of areas (quantitative analysis, logs analysis, UI
engineering, vision and behavioral science) to discover how users read and interact with the Search page, with an emphasis on how users perceive and interact with
ads
-Identify, define, measure, and optimize drivers of user perception and sentiment towards ads.
Guide product direction through compelling, researchÂdriven insights and narratives. Advocate for users as the domain expert.
-Demonstrate excellent statistical and scientific judgement, producing rigorous results in a fastÂpaced environment.
Effectively collaborate with product management, design, and engineering partners.
Experience:
-MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, HumanÂComputer Interaction, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field. Knowledge of surveys, experimental design, data
visualization, and statistical analysis
Essential Must Have:
Track record demonstrating excellent command of research questions within a given domain, and of technical tools for the analysis of data.
Proficiency in programming computational and statistical algorithms for large data sets.
Experience owning and delivering quantitative research or data science solutions and driving results.
1+ years of relevant work experience, especially with user experience teams.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55.63 to $61.81 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
