Our manufacturing client (a global leader in kitchen and bath design) is seeking a Social / Digital Copywriter to join the Direct to Consumer (DTC) team. This individual will be working off a month-to-month contract but is anticipated to be needed for 4-6 months.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating copy for various social & digital networks including organic social posts, social ads, email, display ads, microsite updates and online video
- Optimizing social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
- Collaborating with the larger creative team
Skills:
- Must have a refined, elevated style
- Attention to detail extremely important
- Passion for social media, understanding of social landscape and max word counts, etc
- Fast learner with fast-paced work ethic
- Flexible, takes feedback gracefully, willing to make changes to work
- Creative problem solving using existing content & design elements
- Ability to mirror existing brand standards & esthetics to new initiatives
- Understand the technical and creative constraints of a project, making pragmatic tradeoffs with stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of professional copywriting experience (global luxury brand experience preferred)
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Proven work experience as a Social / Digital Copywriter or similar role
- Experience working on large marketing, and advertising projects
- Strong self-motivation and self-starting work ethic
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint and OneDrive a plus
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45-50 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
This is a contract opportunity expected to last 4-6 months and can be hybrid in Kohler, WI or 100% REMOTE. Must be willing to work CST hours. Open to talent in the US only
