Our well known Pet food / care client is looking to bring on a remote, Social Media Manager ASAP:
Our client is hiring a Social Media Manager to join our Brand Social Marketing team in Plantation, FL. This person will be responsible for developing social media strategies and content to live on our Organic Social Media channels, and will work to craft content calendars, creative briefs, and play into trends.

The individual will manage both high-level and tactical team creative approaches, working closely with Marketing stakeholders to ensure Organic Social acts as a data-driven support channel for product launches, sales, brand partnerships, etc. Clear and effective communication, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is previous experience as a Social Media Manager.

What you’ll do:

Lead Chewy’s organic social media presence
-
Lead social marketing strategies including goal setting, learning agendas, channel allocations, creative/community strategy and measurement

Possesses deep understanding of social platforms and algorithms that affect day-to-day publishing and content strategy

Lead and manage external brand partnership and Creator opportunities
-
Ensure that Chewy’s mission and vision, product assortment, and unique selling points are shown within organic social content

Pitch and execute on new series or initiatives for Meta, TikTok, Twitter/X, and new channels
-
Evolve our social strategy with an eye towards quantitative analysis: test various content types and prioritize the ones that perform best

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, creative teams, and other relevant departments, to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards, specs, brand guidelines, and the brief
-
Develop social media-safe assortment strategies within creative briefs, ensuring proper product usage within Creative and Studio work

Write creative briefs and define program objectives and KPIs for campaigns and content series

Draft social media copy alongside asset publishing

Continuously assess existing social media asset performance, based on predetermined key performance indicators, with support from Senior Managers and Associate Directors

Demonstrate consistent curiosity and high standards to continuously evaluate new opportunities and improvements across team goals and objectives.
What you’ll need:
-
Minimum of 5+ years managing projects or programs, ideally as a Social Media Manager at a Fortune 500 Company

Experience with publishing and scheduling content within social media management tools (Sprinklr, Brandwatch Consumer Research) preferred
-
Experience with creative brief writing and inputs

Demonstrated experience with critical thinking, problem solving, and questioning the status quo

Experience leading team meetings, keeping team members to deadlines, and managing both up and down

Comfortable working across functions and diving into Studio and Creative Operations, Public Relations, Marketing, and other related functional areas

Experience reporting wins (and failures) out to key stakeholders, partners, collaborators, and leadership

Comfortable assessing product SKU lists for social media shopping experiences

Comfortable monitoring and delegating inbound social media requests and team email outreach

BA / BS in relevant field
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $42.45 to $48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
