The Senior Manager, Executive & Employee Comms aligns, inspires, and connects teams through clear, relevant communications. We are looking for a leader who understands what execs want to convey and listens closely to what employees want to hear. In this role you will help drive a culture of performance, agility, accountability, alignment, and collaboration across the organization.

You will be a member of our high-impact Business Unit Communications team and report to the Director, Exec & Employee Comms, focused on work for the CIO organization.

Requirements:

-Executive Communications or Internal Communications directly supporting executives.

  You will:                                                                                                                                

โ—  Support the Director of CIO Communications in executing an internal comms plan aligned to the CIOโ€™s strategic business objectives                                                                       

โ—  Partner with Employee Success and Finance business partners to support their messages to the organization           

โ—  Partner with Public Relations peers so the internal comms strategy aligns with the external narrative

โ—  Provide actionable employee insights to company leaders through formal and informal feedback mechanisms; suggest topics that employees need to hear more about                              

โ—  Develop compelling Slack-first communications that drive awareness of key initiatives and inspire employees to take action             

โ—  Produce large, leader-hosted Town Halls and All Hands-calendaring content, in-person experience, Slack engagement, and post-event survey                                                           

โ—  Execute senior-level org change comms that start with the โ€œwhyโ€ and chronologically manage every communication, with an eye on the employee experience            

โ—  Enable all employees on major company initiatives-strategic events, campaigns, product news, etc.                                      

โ—  Track results and apply key learnings to improve future comms, content, and engagement

โ—  Contribute best practices as a member of the BU Comms team

 Experience:                                                     

โ—  8+ years as a successful internal comms leader in a technology or other fast-paced environment (experience with it, data, and AI communications is a plus)                             

โ—  Extensive experience working with leaders with a commensurate understanding of how to collaborate effectively               

โ—  Ability to adapt comms to a leaderโ€™s voice                                               

โ—  Understanding of (and preferably facility with) Slack as primary comms channel, both for communications and collaboration

โ—  Demonstrated experience with Google slide design and editing                                     

โ—  Brilliant short and long-form writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to generate and execute breakout ideas

โ—  Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and subsequently develop clear communications with minimal guidance

โ—  Confidence and ability to effectively lead, manage, and execute multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, often ambiguous and ever-changing environment

โ—  Ability to work cross-functionally and exert influence without authority

โ—  Energized by fast-paced, highly collaborative, solutions-oriented teams

โ—  Consistently high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

โ—  Ability to re-prioritize on the fly without fluster
