Our client is seeking a highly creative and skilled Technical Artist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on fundamental design principles and concepts. This role demands a high level of creativity, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively to both internal and external clients is essential. The Technical Artist must be adaptable to client needs, able to work efficiently under pressure, and proficient in multitasking across various projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems, finding the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
Develop overall layout and production design for publications, web interfaces, and other visual communications media as they relate to graphic design.
Prepare sketches or layouts to present to clients, demonstrating a clear vision of the final output.
Create charts and graphs from data provided, ensuring the visual presentation accurately represents the information.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide creative solutions that meet their objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive design language across all media.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in design and/or a certificate in graphic design is required. A Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
Basic proficiency in utilizing various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
Previous experience using computers to create layouts and generate new images.
Proficiency in Adobe publishing and graphics software.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $62.09 to $68.99 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
