Our major Healthcare client is looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer to help build a new digital responsive tool. This is a 6-9 month consulting assignment that can be done remotely from the New York/New Jersey area (which is a must to be able to travel to the office for important meetings). The perfect candidate will be responsible for conducting product research, defining strategy, and informing user experience and interaction design to deliver engaging experiences that meet the needs of their users. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights and create wireframes and prototypes that bring your ideas to life. Your ability to conduct user testing and validate design decisions will be crucial in ensuring that the final product is both intuitive and engaging. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences that drive business success. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing the digital design system to ensure consistent and effective representation of the brand across all touchpoints. Your work will primarily focus on creating top-tier digital healthcare compliance experiences.

Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and business goals
- Experienced in design of intuitive user interfaces for enterprise-level software applications
- Adhere to standards, guidelines and usability best practices required in a highly regulated healthcare environment
- Be skilled in interactive rapid digital prototypes
- Must be able to be an individual contributor that is eager to work in a firsthand capacity
- Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for design and functionality enhancements
- Conduct user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys
- Create distinctive, branded digital experiences that are desirable and consistent across multiple platforms, devices, and channels
- Develop new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions
- Create compelling visual designs that align to company and product brand standards
- Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions
- Actively collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately

- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a design-related field
- Expertise in the end-to-end digital product design process, from research and strategy to validation and asset development
- Proven experience as a design leader
- Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web and mobile applications
- Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens
- Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms
- Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile
- Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile Product Development setting
- Knowledge of human-centered design principles
- Creates a culture that relentlessly focuses on helping people and organizations we touch
- Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process, all with a focus on the end user
- Creative problem solving and analytical skills with ability to synthesize ideas into tangible solutions for design
- Sees value in taking an iterative design approach and proactively advocates for the end user
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and the willingness to learn other tools are essential
- Ability to incorporate feedback and diverse perspectives into successful design solutions is required
