We’re seeking an innovative and creative freelance video designer with exceptional digital design skills to join our clients team. Collaborating with our in-house designer, project manager, and creative services manager, you’ll conceptualize, design, and produce compelling digital content for Connections Academy and corporate partnerships. This includes creating engaging videos for web and social media platforms, such as explainer videos for marketing and short animated clips.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in design, fine arts, or related field.

Extensive experience in brand design/development.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Strong ability to design digital content for various formats and audiences, adhering to brand standards.

Experience in creating interactive, animated infographics.

Excellent project management skills, ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Familiarity with motion design and animation for social media platforms.

Prior work with educational companies/brands and adherence to strict brand guidelines.

Portfolio showcasing video work, particularly for social media, explainer videos, and graphic design projects.
Additional Details:

This is a freelance position with flexible hours (0-20 per week).

Ideal candidate will have about 5 years of experience in video and motion design for social media.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $32 to $37 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
