Our innovative tech industry client is looking for a talented and experienced Visual/Graphic Designer to support the creative communications team in the Developer Division Design Studio. We’re looking for someone with excellent visual storytelling, layout/composition, data viz, and typographic skills.
Successful candidates can communicate effectively, clearly articulate ideas and are comfortable presenting designs to senior executives and stakeholders. They will be comfortable working collaboratively with PMs and Developers to build clarity and deliver designs that clearly communicate and are aligned with our design language.

Scope and responsibilities
• Design and own the visual aesthetic of diagrams, infographics, posters and the illustrations, data viz, typography, and storytelling required to deliver premium communications assets
• Apply and communicate solid rationale for their design choices.
• Collaborate with other designers and senior stakeholders to grow designs from low fidelity mocks to polished deliverables
• Align work with visual design systems
• Expand and enhance our visual design language as required
• Design reusable components and elements to fold back into our design systems
• Create solutions within technical constraints
• Help simplify complex stories and information
• Rapidly iterate through multiple concepts
• Give data meaning through beautiful and functional information visualization
• Have an excellent eye for detail and execute to the highest standard

Key competencies
• Excellent grasp of all aspects of visual design
• Practical experience of creating and maintaining visual design patterns
• Experience driving and applying user centered design processes.
• A passion for people, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaborate well with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience, and 5+ years experience working in product or service design.
• Online portfolio required
• FIGMA experience required, familiarity wiith Powerpoint
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
