Job Description
I'm looking to improve the security of my website, which previously suffered from hacking attempts. Despite the implementation of additional security measures, I still need skilled professionals to enhance the robustness of my website against similar invasions.
Please note:
– My website is WordPress and WooCommerce website. Hacking was attempted to display a CC form at checkout. I wanted someone who can find the code, remove it, scan website to make sure now it is secure.
– I changed the setting of WooCommerce, so people can't order without creating an account. But our website used to provide Guest orders and if I enable it now, it display the CC form (which is created by hacker). Right now, the form is not there, because of I changed the settings (disable guest order) but I want this to be removed so I can enable guest order again.
– I want you to scan the website and make sure we are 100% safe now.
– The website is hosted on AWS, so you must need experience with AWS.
– This is a WordPress & WooCommerce website, so experience with this platform is a must.
Key Tasks:
– Probe for vulnerabilities that were exploited during past hacking attempts.
– Implement additional security to prevent a recurrence of such vulnerabilities, especially related to the illicit display of a credit-card form during checkout.
Skills and Experience:
– Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in WordPress and AWS
– Proven expertise in website security
– Familiarity with typical e-commerce security threats and best practices for mitigating risks
– Prior experience resolving similar instances would be a significant plus.
