Description
The QA Engineer works closely with the Project Management, Production, and Creative Teams to ensure delivery of high-quality defect-free digital assets that align with the project specifications. The ideal candidate will help define, adhere and maintain the QA process to drive continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Responsible for ensuring that all digital deliverables display and behave as intended across all supported devices, platforms, email clients, and operating systems.
– Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines.
– Create and conduct all tests to ensure adherence to technical and design specifications for all digital deliverables (email and web), both custom builds and generated via modular builder tools.
– Identify, track, and validate remediation of all errors and bugs.
– Collaborate with Project Managers, Creative Team and Developers to identify and resolve issues.
– Create and conduct regression tests.
– Advise on maintenance needed to maintain custom web products through multiple platform updates.
– Aid in optimizing the digital QA process and maintain documentation.
– Keep up to date with industry standards and best practices.
– Advise on changes to testing matrix as needed, maintain and update documentation on test coverage.
– Respond quickly to changing requirements in fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
– 3-5+ years of QA experience in web and email development.
– Experience testing responsive emails and web pages.
– Knowledge of software engineering practices and Agile methodology.
– Familiarity with Content Management Systems and web builder tools.
– Experience with email testing platforms (Litmus, Email on Acid, etc.).
– Experience with browser testing platforms (Sauce Labs, Browserstack, etc.)
– Excellent attention to detail and sharp eye for design-to-development
comparisons.
– Ability to work with a Project Management tool (e.g. Workfront, JIRA).
– Understanding of HTML/CSS.
– Understanding of SEO/metadata.

 

Nice to Haves
– Experience with tracking/analytics.
– Experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
– Understanding of quirks and limitations of various email clients.
– Experience building or improving test automation frameworks.
– Experience testing CRM, digital banner, landing pages, websites

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $45-60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
