Our leading financial client based in New York City is looking for a superstar Microsoft Word Document Specialist!  The winning candidate will have 5 years of successful experience leveraging the full MS Office Suite as well as Adobe Creative Suite skills, to deliver time-sensitive product in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

  • The MS Word Specialist is responsible for creating and editing Word Templates and documents other general desktop publishing duties
  • ​Advanced presentation, layout, design and editing skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Create multi-page / multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for reports, proposals and other complex documents
  • Candidate manages their workflow and deadlines, reviews all outgoing product for accuracy and quality, and needs to deliver his / her jobs on time
  • Support operations with performance metrics like quality of work, efficiency of production, and utilization
  • Produce high-quality documents and ad hoc projects
  • Extensive knowledge of specialized applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • ​Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics
  • Exceptional customer service and client interaction skills
  • Ability to deliver time-sensitive custom PowerPoint and Word templates, covers, advanced Excel charts / tables / graphs and maps on-time and on-deadline
  • Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
  • Can interpret complex ideas visually
  • Proficient in ArcGIS mapping a plus
  • Advanced presentation design / layout creation and editing skills
  • Exceptional customer service and client interaction skills
  • Able to proof own work
  • Exposure to Onsite and Offshore working models a plus
  • Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed
  • Financial industry experience a plus

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $30.00 to $40.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
