Program Manager – Services Security Assurance

Overview

Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to drive security and compliance initiatives for Azure Edge and Platform Security, and to work with engineering teams on data management, reporting, and privacy reviews.
• Key projects: A bunch of assorted projects specifically for how to build some engineering components into that, either by planning or project management.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of could be, running queries to look for data patterns, building reports to highlight those patterns and make sure the leadership sees. The role involves coordinating with different engineering teams, service owners, and managers on data management, privacy reviews, and legal agreements.

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 6-10 years of program management years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelors degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates who are not mindful when sharing private information will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain Report building experience.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on impact of work and quality.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Proficiency in Azure DevOps (formerly Visual Studio) and Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
2. Strong ability to work with data related technologies such as Azure Data Explorer, SQL, Power BI, etc.
3. Knowledge of Source Control systems and usage patterns and Git

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $75 to $80/HR. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
