Job Title:  Digital Marketing Director

Salary: $110,000-$150,000

POSITION SUMMARY

Aquent has partnered with a leading Mortgage Lender and Advisor who is looking for a Director, Digital Marketing. This person will play an important role by performing a variety of activities directly related to the organization’s Marketing and Digital functions. The role is primarily responsible for the website(s) under management and ownership, including related functions such as SEO, lead generation, and local search. This role will also be responsible for the creation, socialization and execution of strategy that delivers best-in-class digital experience for their customers, prospects, partners, and sales.

As Director of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the company website, local search such as Google, and all things related to the public-facing website. You will be expected to develop and implement successful digital marketing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.

To be successful in this role:

-You should have in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies.

-You should have a proven track record of designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.

-You should be familiar with online marketing tools and best practices, and have hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, CRM, and WordPress.

-You should have excellent analytical and project management skills, as well as

strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•Strategically lead the web and digital marketing team.

•Integrate the digital and web strategy with CRM and marketing automation.

•Own the strategy, performance, analytics, development, and success of all company public website properties.

•Own SEO and local search strategy and execution with a focus on driving business to the retail channel.

•Own the web CMS and publication of relevant and effective content on web in partnership with content teams.

•Partner cross-functionally with the overall marketing teams, compliance, legal, IT, and regional groups to execute initiatives.

•Maintain an up to date and secure infrastructure of systems and apps related to web and digital marketing, including regular audits and improvement planning.

•Present initiatives, opportunities, business cases, and results to key executives and stakeholders.

•Monitor, audit, and ensure high performance and resolution regarding page crawling, indexing, duplicate or cannibalizing content, sitemap, robots.txt, mobile usability and performance, URL/domain, schema, and other technical issues.

•Oversee redirects, linking optimization, link building strategy, navigation and web usability and adherence to WCAG standards for accessibility.

•Leverage modern web and digital practices and technology such as Google Tag Manager.

•Spearhead the optimization of digital experience on the web and improve customer experience by increasing transparency, productivity, speed and accuracy across all phases of the customer/loan journey on the website.

•Lead UI/UX efforts, as well as provide the strategic vision for front-end development.

•Influence IT development project in-take and portfolio prioritization to ensure business-IT alignment.

•Assess duplicative, misaligned and/or degraded systems and distill into high-value retire/replace opportunities.

•Translate company objectives into clear creative strategies, with measurable results.

•Ensure visual communication and brand standards are maintained

•Introduce opportunities for self-service and reduce demand on the call center while improving customer experience.

•Improve departmental efficiency and creativity through the use of AI powered systems and tools.

•Negotiate production and pricing with vendors.

•Oversee deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

•Hire, train and cultivating the development of team members; review work and provide feedback to team members.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

•5+ years of experience in a web or digital marketing role and 5 years of experience in leading web focused digital marketing teams.

•5 years of financial services or real estate industry experience preferred.

•Demonstrated expertise with digital design, user experience, and copywriting skills; a portfolio review at the time of interview will be required.

•Strong web, mobile design, front-end development and UX/UI skills and execution experience required.

•Must have working knowledge and skill to diagnose, communicate with developers in, and understand HTML, CSS, PHP.

•Proven track record of creative and managerial success.

•Deep leadership and management experience, within mid-large organizations, developing web and digital teams,

people, and their careers; influencing Engineering and Product organizations.

•Outstanding ability to collaborate, with strong skills of influence and mentoring. Ability to lead cross-functional

engagement and team growth.

•Proven track record of leading change and process improvement.

•Demonstrated ability to think broadly, while possessing the ability to manage tasks and output efficiently; outstanding creativity with a drive for results.

•Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to manage a pipeline of projects and requests. Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to independently decision.

•Ability to scope and manage projects through all phases, from kick-off through to delivery.

•Ability to translate business requirements into elegant and intuitive design solutions, balancing user needs, business goals and technology constraints.

•Ability to translate conceptual commentary into actionable, creative, highly evolved output.

•Superior internal and external customer service skills with the ability to communicate in an on-brand way with customers and industry partners; Exceptional ability to interact with employees and leadership at all levels of the company.

•Strong work ethic with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•Demonstrated implementation of emerging interaction design standards, best practices and emerging trend and technologies.

•Effective cross-functional collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills.

•Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and product stakeholders.
